Digital game addiction, social anxiety and alexithymia in adolescents

This study was planned as a descriptive in order to research the digital game addiction, social anxiety, and alexithymia levels of adolescents. conducted with 626 adolescents age group 12-15 years. The data were collected using Descriptive Characteristics Form, DGAS-7 (Digital Game Addiction Scale), SAS-A (Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescents), AQC (Alexithymia Questionnaire Children). It can be asserted accordance that addiction level high who male, played strategy games, used internet more than three hours day. adolescents, aged between 14-15 years had socio-economic level, smartphone, their smartphones, no health problem, experienced anxiety low year-end success score, problems, showed alexithymic personality characteristics.
